Commercial storm restoration
When the storm rolls through, we walk the roof.
The North Texas and Oklahoma hail corridors hit commercial roofs hard — and most of the damage is invisible from the ground. Golden Rule delivers a thorough assessment, honest documentation, and a full restoration once the scope is settled.
What hail & wind do
The damage you can't see from the parking lot.
Commercial roofs get punished by hail and straight-line winds in ways that don't announce themselves until you have a leak. That's why the assessment matters. Left undocumented, this damage compounds.
- 01
Membrane punctures
Hail can drive through single-ply membranes and modified bitumen — pinhole punctures that leak weeks or months later.
- 02
Seam & flashing damage
Wind opens seams and lifts flashings at edges, curbs, and penetrations. Water finds the smallest opening.
- 03
Metal panel denting & fastener damage
Metal roofing systems and R-panel roofs can look intact from the ground while panels are bruised and fasteners are compromised.
- 04
Drainage & scupper damage
Debris impact bends scuppers, clogs drains, and reroutes water — often the first sign of a bigger problem.

Assessment & documentation
A thorough roof assessment — every hit, on record.
We walk the whole roof and photograph everything we find: hail impacts by slope, damaged flashings, punctured membranes, fastener failures, drainage issues, and any pre-existing conditions. You get a clear report and a plain-English explanation.
That report becomes your paper trail — whether you're deciding on repairs, restoration, or filing a claim with your carrier. You file the claim; we handle the roof.

Storm damage FAQs
Straight answers.
How do I know if my commercial roof has storm damage?
Often you can't tell from the ground — that's the whole point. Hail bruising, membrane punctures, and seam damage show up on the roof itself. If a significant hail or wind event has passed through, the safe move is to get a professional assessment on record before the damage is masked by dirt or weathering.
How soon after a storm should I have the roof looked at?
As soon as it's safe to be on the roof. The sooner damage is documented, the cleaner the record — carriers have windows for filing, and undocumented damage gets harder to attribute the longer you wait.
Does storm damage always mean a full replacement?
No. Some damage is truly localized and repairable, and we'll say so. When the damage is widespread — enough hits per square, seam or flashing failures across the roof, membrane no longer waterproof — a full restoration is the honest recommendation. Either way you get the assessment first, then the choice.
Do you handle the insurance claim for us?
We're commercial roofing experts, and one of the values we bring is that we handle the roofing process from start to finish. You file the claim with your carrier — we're available on site when your adjuster inspects, we document the roof, and we restore it to spec once scope is agreed. Your only real decision is what roof you want and what color.
